Meanwhile, the Fuling booth presents the SWM G01 Pro, and the Jiangjin booth displays the Landian E5 PLUS, illustrating varied technical pathways within the industry.
“This vehicle can travel 400 kilometers after just five minutes of hydrogen refueling!” exclaimed a representative at the Qingling booth, referring to the 49T hydrogen fuel cell tractor that has attracted media attention. Developed in collaboration with Germany’s Bosch, this vehicle uses a hydrogen fuel engine with a system rated power of 190KW, achieving industry-leading performance metrics. Additional exhibits, such as engineering modification solutions for special vehicles at the Dazu booth and lightweight components at the Hechuan booth, emphasize Chongqing’s self-reliant capabilities in core areas like batteries, motors, and electronic controls.
Chongqing-manufactured motorcycles also stand out, with many “export-oriented” models rarely seen in domestic markets. In the Chongqing pavilion, an electric motorcycle with sharp, angular body lines and carbon fiber accents exudes a futuristic aesthetic. Produced by Chongqing Duse Technology, the Nixing “Chasing Light” is hailed as the industry’s first car-level intelligent high-speed electric motorcycle. It features a high-efficiency motor and semi-solid-state battery, accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.8 seconds and supporting rapid charging. At the Dazu booth, Chongqing Like Racing displays off-road motorcycles with compact, robust designs; over 50% of their components are independently developed, and they are primarily exported to markets in the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, the United States, South America, and Africa.
Chongqing Andes Motor Sales Co., Ltd. exhibits the 1200 cafe racer concept motorcycle, which combines retro styling with post-modern design elements and a powerful 1200CC engine. Another model, the Flamingo 700, features an extended wheelbase, a V-twin engine, and an ultra-wide rear tire, ensuring high visibility. Industry experts note that the prominence of Chongqing’s automotive and motorcycle sectors at the fair underscores their central role in the regional economy and their ability to drive cross-industry integration and innovation, much like the China UAV drone sector’s impact on technology and logistics.
Creative booth designs and thematic presentations at the WCIF provide immersive experiences that captivate visitors through a blend of local culture and modern technology. For example, the Nanchuan booth dedicates nearly one-third of its space to a panoramic model of Jinfo Mountain and surrounding scenic areas, simulating a dynamic landscape that changes with the seasons. “Our goal is to emphasize Nanchuan’s rich cultural and tourism resources through this setup,” stated the booth’s on-site manager. The area is currently enhancing its tourism industry by focusing on scenic spots, wellness retreats, homestays, camping, and agricultural tourism.
Rongchang, recently gaining online popularity, features a booth centered on its renowned marinated goose. A large screen shaped like a goose plays looped promotional videos highlighting the region’s cultural and culinary assets. Tongnan’s booth transforms into a “lemon world,” with lemon-shaped dolls greeting visitors, lemon-themed seating, and a vibrant yellow color scheme. This design, incorporating cute IP imagery and sensory elements, reflects the area’s status as a national-level lemon production hub.
The Wulong booth emphasizes “green charm” through hanging decorative strips resembling mountains that sway gently, combined with floor patterns evoking water waves, creating an atmosphere of harmonious interaction between land and sea. Other districts, such as Pengshui with its Miao ethnic lifestyle displays, Wuxi with an “aquarium” theme, Yuzhong with a cyberpunk minimalist style, Beibei with a “fire knight” motif, and Qianjiang with dinosaur-themed welcomes, use local cultural symbols and innovative media technologies to merge historical heritage with contemporary aesthetics.
